I’m Heather. By day, I’m a P.R. hack for a local school district, as well as a freelance writer who pens a weekly cooking column and features/news stories for a group of local newspapers.
Outside of working too hard, I spend my time in the kitchen, trying new recipes. I also like checking out new restaurants, going to museums, concerts, movies, theater; playing video games; surfing this here World Wide Web; hangin’ out with friends; playing air hockey/foosball/arcade games; listening to music; watching good TV (The Office, Arrested Development and the like) and generally being incredibly awesome.
I started blogging about 10 years ago with a Diaryland, then I moved over to LiveJournal until I bit the bullet and bought my own domain. The last incarnation of my blog was written in lists. This time I am going to attempt a more straight-forward narrative style. But, I will probably fail.
Enjoy!

Congrats on the site, Heather! I didn’t know you did a weekly cooking column. Show me where–I’d love to follow it!
