1. It’s Sunday morning, and I’m washing my sheets. J. just left to continue moving his life from MKE to the Wauk. Unfortunately, I haven’t been much help to him, because last weekend, I fucked my back up and repinched a nerve in my lower back.

2. It’s strange how back pain really effects your whole outlook on thing — at least for me it does, I’ve been incredibly down the last week or so. And my stomach has been causing me nothing but trouble.

3. On Friday night, me, J., K. and P. saw “The Dark Knight.” Holy balls! You must see this film. If you liked “Batman Begins,” you’ll adore “The Dark Knight.” It was worth the wait, the build-up and the buying reserved UltraScreen tickets almost a month ago.

4. J. has been living here for the past two weeks — one week, because of my parents’ car issues, and last week, because his life is in a state of instability with moving and whatnot. It’s been nice. He says I’m too 1950s. That I have dinner ready for him when he comes home from fire training. Last night, he came here around 11 p.m., and I surprised him with an Oakland Gyros gyro — what he has been craving for weeks now, and Tater Tots. I rule.

5. I’ve said hi to my neighbors. I just ran into one downstairs. No other niceties exchanged, but in my mind, I have been creating embellished life stories, especially for the two ladies who live on the north side of me. I should write a short story about it sometime. Maybe.

6. *time elapsed* Sheets are done. There is plenty of Batman on TV today. It’s a good day to veg, and try to forget that tomorrow is another day at your shitty job.
